Application Process
Step 1: Apply for admission to a college/university
The first step to initiate the Australia study visa process is getting approval for admission or an offer letter from a recognized educational institution. There are innumerable colleges and universities in Australia that offer a range of degrees and study programs for students.
Step 2: Submitting the financial Documents
After getting an offer letter, the next step is to submitting the financial documents to the college or university.

Step 3: GTE Interview
After completing the document submission the university will conduct GTE interview
Step 4: Pay the university fee
After clear and completing the GTE, pay the 1 st semester fee to the university
Step 5: Unconditional
After pay the university pay, the university will release the unconditional letter
Step 6: COE
After getting the unconditional the university will release the COE this is final confirmation from University
Step 7: Go through the medical examination
Now, you will have to go through a medical examination from a doctor recognized by the Australia government. While the report of your medical examination will go directly to the immigration authorities, you will receive a receipt for it. The receipt will be submitted at the time of application.

Step 2: Types of Australia Student (Subclass 500) Visa

With the Student visa (Subclass 500) visa, the visa holder can:
- Enroll in a course and participate in an eligible course of study
- Bring family members to Australia
- Work for up to 40 hours every two weeks during the course
- Travel to and from the country
Step 3: Complete the visa application online
If you are an international student coming to Australia, you should apply for a Subclass 500 visa. It’s probably a good idea to apply for your visa at least 6 weeks before your course starts.
Step 4: Pay the visa fee and get a TRN-number
You need to pay a fee to get an Australian visa. This may not be refunded when you visa is rejected, When you have completed the application, you pay the application fee. The fee is currently about $575. After you submit your application, you get a Transaction Reference Number (TRN). Save this so you can track your application online.
Step 5: Possible health check-up and interview
Sometimes you have to complete a health check and/or an interview. You get information about this when you complete the visa application.
Step 6: Your visa decision
How long does it take to get your Student Visa (subclass 500) decision? You usually get an outcome within a couple of weeks if your application is complete. However, the quality of your application can affect this. Also, it can depend on how busy the Australian immigration authorities are. A mistake on your application can cause a delay or result in rejection. When your Student Visa application has been processed, you will get an email notification. Your visa is electronic, so it might be a good idea to print the Visa Grant letter and keep this with your passport when you travel to Australia.
